Course Description

Getting Along with Others explores the behavior and skills that enhance communication and relationships. This course helps you examine how your behavior is perceived by others. You will learn how to build trust, develop rapport when communicating, deal with differences and conflict, and present yourself assertively to colleagues.

Michael Baroff has consulted with a wide-range of business, government and nonprofit organizations to improve work performance and achieve strategic outcomes for over 25 years. He is the developer and facilitator of The Inner Work of Work Coaching Yourself for Improved Performance series (Being Your Best; Getting Along with Others and Contributing to Your Company's Success.Michael has served as President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and on the boards of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association (PCMA), and International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI). He has taught at UCLA Extension Department of Business and Management, Santa Monica College Office of Workforce and Economic Development, and the Esalen Institute.
